The Economics of Cultural Heritage Protection - SHELTER workshop
In late January 2023, the UMAS team from the University of Masaryk successfully managed a workshop on the Economics of Cultural Heritage Protection in Brno. On this occasion, they presented
the Assessment Tool and the CBA Tool. The meeting is been attended mainly by managers from the National Heritage Institutes of the Czech and Slovak Republics, universities, and specific cultural heritage professionals.
The main topics of the workshop were:
- Valuation of cultural heritage by the indirect method
- Working with the cultural heritage valuation tool (case study)
- Cost-benefit analysis in the protection of cultural heritage
- Working with the CBA tool (case study)
