1st workshop for Seferihisar Open Lab

Seferihisar Municipality celebrates its first Open Lab workshop in Sığacık, involving local stakeholders and institutions representatives attended namely the Izmir Museum Directorate, Izmir Cultural Heritage Preservation Regional Board Directorate, Izmir Survey and Monuments Directorate, Ankara University Teos Excavation President, Friends of Cultural Heritage and Ecodenge.

During the meeting session, a 6-month local implementation plan for the restoration of Sığacık fortress walls was determined as a preliminary study thanks to the EU funds allocated. It was decided to hold local stakeholders meetings in Seferihisar at 6-month intervals.

Stakeholders exchanged ideas about their experiences and areas of authority for the planned activities and ended the meeting after the visit to Sığacık Kaleiçi.
