1st Ravenna Open Lab - Workshop launched

The first Ravenna Open Lab in the framework oh H2020 Shelter-Project took place on the 6th of November 2019. Shelter aims at enhancing resilience of historic areas and improving sustainable reconstruction (building back better) by combining data driven and Open Lab approaches.

The Ravenna Open Lab, managed by the University of Bologna in collaboration with the Sopraintendenza Archeologica, Belle Arti e Paesaggio for the provinces of Ravenna, Forli-Cesena and Rimini, has been conceived as a collaborative space where the main stakeholders, in the field of cultural heritage management and prevention of natural risks, are invited to discuss and define and validate new intervention strategies in order to increase asset resilience cultural and more generally of the city and the territory in which they are placed.

The Ravenna Open Lab, working on Santa Croce area, is one of the 5 cases study of the project acting as knowledge generator, evaluation frameworks and demonstration sites, long-term thinking living- and transition labs and learning environments.
