Save the Date for the EU Task Force for Climate Neutral and Resilience Historic Urban Districts - 2nd Meeting
The 2nd Meeting of the EU Task Force for Climate Neutral and Resilient Historic Urban Districts that will be conducted virtually on the 14th & 15th of December 2021. The event will include open discussions in three thematic areas:
1. The resilience of historic urban districts;
2. The assessment, monitoring, and evaluation of risks and resilience;
3. The development of equitable solutions for and with the communities;
The purpose of the meeting is to bring together actors from the cultural sector, the research community, and policy-makers to discuss and identify the obstacles, opportunities, best practices, and tools to render the historic urban districts, climate neutral. By doing so, the task force aims to provide support to the European authorities and decision-makers to develop common evidence-based policies, strategies, and procedures to support the adaptation of historic districts to climate change.
Event details:
The meeting will be conducted
virtually on the
14th & 15th of December 2021 and will include three sessions in
three thematic areas. In each session,
participants will pitch problems, opportunities, and best practices from their daily practice, as well as methods and tools (own developments as well as ones already in use) related to each thematic area through short presentations.
Based on these presentations, participants will join interactive discussions to match problems, best practices, methods, and tools with each other. Please
share your feedback on each thematic area on the following
miro boards before the event. The final agenda will be designed according to your input. You can participate in all or in whichever thematic area you are most interested in.
